Public transportation systems such as KL Monorail, Star LRT, Putra LRT, and KTM Komuter are the best ways to move in the city of Kuala Lumpur. Generally, bus lines are available in most areas of the city and tickets are fairly cheap. Taxis are also available all around the city. Taxis should always use a meter so please consider that before stepping into the taxi and always ask to confirm whether they are going by the meter. It is strongly advised to get more information about normal taxi fares from other students.
