Visa Requirements
Department of Immigration and Border Protection of Australia made number of changes for student visa on 1st of July 2015. For instance, IELTS is no longer the only admissible English proficiency test by the Embassy. In addition amendments were made for financial requirements and visa procedures.
Documents required for student visas to be issued:
- Copy of applicant's identification (and his/her dependent),
- Copy of issued visas from other countries,
- Certified copy of applicant's (and his/her dependent) birth certificates and their official English translation,
- Certified copy of marriage certificate and its English translation,
- Certified copy of applicants' (and his/her dependent) qualifications and transcripts, and its official English translation,
- Evidence of employment: Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume,
- Evidence of English language skills,
- Certified copy of sponsor's birth certificate, and its official English translation
- Evidence of financial resources,
- Commitment letter,
- Bank Statement for last 3 months, (it should be noted, the Financial Bank Statement must be provided from a verified bank
- Evidence of revenue recognition,
- Evidence of clearance is mandatory for New Zealand,
- Letter of acceptance/offer,
- 2 Passport size photo of applicant (and his/her dependent),
- Receipt of visa payment,
- Visa fees for New Zealand, must be paid to be to the firm
- Applicants may need to provide further information/documents if needed, and
- Visa processing time may take between 12-18 weeks.
