Charles Darwin University is located in Northern Australia. It was evolved over the years through merging of several educational institutions; though it was established in 2004. Today there are over 22,000 students registered in this university, will 13,367 students enrolled in Technical and Further Education (TAFE) courses and the remaining are enrolled in Higher Education degrees. It is a dual-sector university. This means Charles Darwin University offers both TAFE courses as well as other Higher Education undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Hence, it covers wide range of programs and disciplines. It is in fact one of the 5 institutions in Australia that offers TAFE courses.

 

In the past decade this institution has made great improvement and progress in the field of research and development. Current projects of Charles Darwin University include:

The campuses and education centers of the university are nationwide. Charles Darwin University has 8 campuses that are located in different parts of Northern Australia.
