Bond University is a private institution founded in 1957 in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.  Since it is the first private university of Australia it differs in many ways from public colleges.

For instance, runs 3 full semesters rather than two semesters each year. Henceforth students can commence their course of study either in September, January or May. Moreover, students can complete their three year undergraduate program in only two years.

In 2010, Bond University managed to receive maximum five stars across the most key performance indicators and is the highest rating Australian University. These stars were awarded in categories such as: Getting a Full-time Job, Starting Salaries, Teaching Quality, Generic Skills and etc.

 

Bond University has established research centers to improve the quality of research input and research training of the university. In addition, the university hosts a range of research groups in the faculties, which play an important role in contributing to the research strength. They are as follow:

·         Faculty of Health Science and Medicine

·         Faculty of Law

·         Faculty of Society and Design

·         Bond Business School

 

Most of the faculties and schools of the University are located within its 4 campuses, which are:

·         Bond University’s Bond Business School

·         Bond University’s Faculty of Law

·         Bond University’s Faculty of Health Science and Medicine

·         Faculty of Society and Design

o   Abedian School of Architecture

o   School of Psychology

 

There are over 70 facilities such as gym, coffee shops and restaurants are located within the campuses of the Bond University.
