Edith Cowan University (ECU) is located in Perth, Western Australia. ECU was first established in 1991 as a public university and as of today has over 23,000 enrolled students in undergraduate and postgraduate level. About 3,300 of its students are international. ECU offers around 400 courses in two of its metropolitan campuses in Mount Lawley and Joondalup and a regional campus in South West, Bunbury.

Joondalup is the university headquarters, which forms part of the Joondalup Leardning Precint (West Coast College of TAFE and the Western Australian Police Academy).

Some of the programs are only specific to University of Edith Cowan and are not offered by any other university in Western Australia, such as: Bachelor of Aviation.

In 2010, the Edith Cowan University’s Faculty of Business and Law was ranked 9th best in business school in Australia. Moreover MBA programme was awarded 5 stars by Graduate Management Association of Australia.
