University of Tasmania
University of Tasmania (UTAS) is a public research university located in Tasmania Australia. It was established in 1890. UTAS is one of the four universities that were founded in the 19th century in Australia. The University has grown a lot in size and as of today it has over 22000 enrolled students from which 3000 of them are international. UTAS has three main campuses: Sandy Bay, Newnham and the Cradle Coasts.
Sandy Bay is the main campus of the University with 100 hectares in area. It is located above 35 minutes’ walk from the center of Hobart. Besides, the UTAS has numerous satellite campuses in the country, including University Farm. It is a 334 hectare farm property located 20 km from the main campus and other land parcels.

Scholarship:
The UTAS Scholarships Program provides over 900 awards to the value of almost AU$7 million. As a result it is one of the leading Scholarship Programs in the country. These Scholarships are awarded to meritorious students except for medical and research students. It is in fact, 25% discount on the tuition fees for the course. All applicants are automatically considered for Scholarships and upon agreement on their case, students will be informed.

UTAS has been ranked 14th top university in the nation, and among the top 10 universities for research. The Times Higher Education world university rankings place UTAs amongst the top 300 universities in the world. As a matter of fact, it is among the top 400 universities in the world.
