University of Canberra (UC) is a public university located in Bruce, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. UC was founded in 1990 to offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses covering 6 areas: Applied Science, Health, Art and Design, Business, Government and Law, Education and Information Science & Engineering. The University campus is only a walking distance from Westfield Belconnen and 12 min drive from Canberra’s Civic Centre.
The University has only one campus located in the Suburb of Bruce. It covers 290 acres if buildings, roads and access routes. There are over 28 buildings, each dedicated to a particular purpose. The University has about 13,000 enrolled students, marking it as the second largest university in Canberra, capital of Australia.
