Edith Cowan University Australia (ECU) annually awards a range of scholarships to students. International students can benefit from a variety of these awards, which are listed below:
· ECU Executive Deans Honours Scholarship – Faculty of Business and Law (Honours): The faculty offers AU$ 5,000 worth of scholarship for final year of undergraduate’s studies. The eligible applicant must ve enrolled in the areas of Business, Leisure and Justice. In addition, applicants are required to provide a written summary including the purpose, nature and significance of their proposed research area. The scholarship is a merit based award.
· ECU International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (ECUPRS Int): this is awarded to research students to cover their tuition fees, health cover and living expenses. It is AU$ 27,000 worth scholarships, depending on the length of the course, 1-2 years for a master by research and up to 3 years for a Doctor of Philosophy. Applicants must have completed their Bachelor Degree with a First Class Honour to become eligible to apply for Scholarship.
· Edith Cowan University Post Graduate Research Scholarship (ECUPRS): the grant supports students of exceptional research promise to study full time at the University for Doctoral Degree or Master by research. As with the above mentioned scholarships, it is awarded based on academic merit and research performances of students. It is AU$ 27,000 worth fund per annum, for the duration of the course.
· Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (EIPRS): the scholarship provides research students with AU$ 27,000 worth grant to cover the recipients living allowances, student health care and tuition fees, for the tenure of their research scholarship. Since it is very competitive, students are required to provide evidence of completed a Bachelor Degree with a First Class Honour.
