Southern Cross University

Southern Cross University offers a number of scholarships for international students. They are as follow:

International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS):  is available for international PhD, Professional Doctorate and Masters by Thesis students. The scholarship is funded by the Australian Government to cover the tuition fees. Recipients may also apply for an Australian Postgraduate Award (APA). The Scholarship will be for a period of two years for a Master by Thesis and Three years for a PhD course.

Neil Leiper Tourism Honours Scholarship: is an award in honour of Professor Neil Leiper. It provides AU$3,000 scholarship in the field of Tourism for outstanding students studying the Bachelor of Business in Toursim and Hospitality Management.

Peter Baverstock Research Career Path Honours Scholarship: the scholarship is offered in the honour of Professor Peter Baverstock. It is AU$ 5,000 worth scholarship for outstanding students that which to undertake an Honours research program with a view towards a career in research via the PhD.

Ralph Barclay Braun Memorial Scholarship: Students that have a formal acceptance in the Bachelor of Science with Honours can be eligible to apply for this award, which is AU$5000. Recipients must be able to demonstrate excellence academic records and be enrolled as a full time student in Southern Cross University’s National Marine Science Centre.
