University of Canberra

There are a number of scholarships offered by University of Canberra for international students, such as: 

·    AusAID scholarships awarded by the Australian government: for recipients that meet country specific eligibility criteria. Applicants can apply for this scholarship to fund their education overseas. The idea of this scholarship if to offer the brightest students, researchers and professionals to study in Australia and offshore, and build capacity in developing countries.

·  Endeavour Awards from the Australian government: are merit based scholarships awarded to international postgraduate students or executives. The total value of these awards can be up to AU$272,500for the duration of the applicant’s course.

·     Rotary Club of Belconnen Award: an amount of AU$ 1.500 is awarded to two financially disadvantaged applicants. The international recipient must be a humanitarian visa holder enrolled in second or latter year of his/her course.

·      University of Canberra College International Achievers Program (UCCIAP) Scholarship: students from Indonesia may be eligible to apply for a scholarship of AU$ 2,000 in value for any College Diploma Program at University of Canberra.  

·        UC Foundation Refugee Scholarships: refugee students may be eligible to apply for AU$2,500 in value scholarship for their first year of the degree. The grant will assist them to focus on their studies. However, recipients are required to demonstrate evidence of financial disadvantage and ambitions in pursuing their education and career.  

·         University of Canberra Scholarship for International, Migrant and Refugee Students: as the name states the eligible applicants are required to be international, migrant or refugee. Recipients will be awarded AU$2,000 worth of scholarship to assist them financially.
