University of South Australia offers a range of scholarships, which can be found below:
Australian government scholarships: depending on the applicants proposals the value of the grant may vary. These scholarships are funded by Australian Government for students of specific countries to encourage the students to undertake their studies and research in Australia. The funds are available for the duration of full degree.
International postgraduate research scholarships (IPRS): the scholarship is to international students that are able to demonstrate academic merit and research potential. Eligible recipients will receive at least AU$26,288 worth in scholarship per year for duration of their course. The grant does not cover the costs of overseas health expenses, but is paid as living stipend.
University President’s Scholarship (UPS): the scholarships are awarded to eligible international students. They are granted on the bases of academic merit. The UPS covers the tuition fees and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). Eligible applicants may be provided living allowances by the University of South Australia center, school, division, or institution the applicant has applied. An amount of AU$26,288 plus living allowances will be awarded to eligible scholars.
International Research Tuition Scholarships (IRTS): high standing international students that are recipients of fully externally funded living stipend may be eligible to apply for this scholarship. IRTS will cover the international tuition fee for duration of PhD students and research master’s students. However, the grant does not cover the costs of OSHC of the applicants and their depended family.
Other opportunities: applicants may be eligible for scholarships from their home country.
