There are only a limited number of scholarships offered by UNSW Australia for undergraduate students, further information may be found on their website. Below is a list of scholarships open to its international students of higher education, at postgraduate and doctoral levels.
International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS): these scholarships are open to outstanding research students of master and PhD levels of all disciplines. The scholarship covers the tuition fees and living allowances of AU$22,500 per year. The award also covers the costs of Overseas Student Health Cover and their dependent families. Having been awarded IPRS does not mean the costs of your visa application will be covered. The scholarship is valid for duration of the student’s course, (2 years for masters and 3 years for PhD).
University International Postgraduate Award (UIPA): these scholarships are open to outstanding research students of master and PhD levels of all disciplines. An amount of AU$ 22,500 per year is awarded to eligible applicants. Recipients will also receive a discount on their total tuition fees.
Tuition Fee Scholarship (TFS) plus a Research Stipend: the scholarship is open to students enrolled in specific research fields of the University. Eligible recipients will be awarded discounts on their tuition fees plus living allowances of AU$22,500 per year.
