Flag of the United States
American flag is the national flag of United States. The white vertical strips signifies purity and innocence, Red, Hardiness and valour, and Blue, the colour of Chief (the broad band above the stripes) signifies vigilance, perseverance and justice.
The 50 stars on the flag represent the 50 states of the United States of America. The 13 strips in red and white represent the thirteen British colonies that declared independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain and became the first states of the Union.
