New Zealand Citizen Family Relationship visa

This visa is for a person who is not a New Zealand citizen but is a member of a family unit of a New Zealand citizen. It lets you live and work in Australia for five years.With this visa you can live, work and study in Australia for 5 years,travel to and from Australia as many times as you want while the visa is valid include Members of the family unit in your application.
You must not be a New Zealand citizen, you must be one of the Members of the family unit of a New Zealand citizen or their partner.
You must make sure if the New Zealand citizen is in Australia that they are on a Special Category visa subclass 444  or they will travel with you to Australia and will be the holder of a Special Category visa subclass 444 on arrival .If you are offshore, you can apply for the sublcass 461 visa without needing to hold another type of visa first.If you are onshore you need to hold a substantive visa when you lodge your application. If you do not hold a substantive visa you will need show you do not hold a visa because of factors beyond your control and there are compelling reasons to grant you a subclass 461.You and any family members who apply for the visa with you must meet our health requirement.If you apply for this visa from outside Australia, family members who are not coming to Australia might also have to meet our health requirement.
Have health insurance:
You are personally liable for all your healthcare costs while you are in Australia.Medical insurance helps limit your financial liability.You must maintain adequate health cover for the whole of your stay if you are granted this visa.Your insurance should cover you for medically necessary treatment, including transport.
