Master's Degree

The Master's degrees are very popular in Australia. Many students of Iran wish to continue their studies at postgraduate level in Australia as there is a wide range of courses and programs to complete.  Normally these courses are completed within one to three academic years.  Nevertheless, many students choose to study joint major courses.  This allows them to complete two different majors simultaneously. The system of assessment for students qualifications are usually the same.  Henceforth, providing your latest earned degree (Bachelor) and resume, could be very useful for the process of evaluation and assessment. Each University has its own criteria for measuring the students’ level of knowledge and skills. For instance, many universities require students to have an IELTS score of 6.5 as entry requirements for postgraduate programs, except for Group of 8  Australia universities.  One of the criteria’s for obtaining admission to their Medical programs is to have achieved an IELTS score of 7.  However, some universities will also accept an IELTS score of 6 for entry to postgraduate courses. Group eight universities of Australia are of the top ranking universities of this country and as a result are very strict their entry requirements and providing admissions.  There is a higher chance of obtaining a scholarship for graduate courses than undergraduate programs. Postgraduate research program as its name suggests, it focuses on research and experiment.

Tuition fees of postgraduate program

Tuition fee of this program varies between AU$ 17,000-33,000 per year depending on the university. In addition AU$18,000 per year will be the costs of living in Australia as a student.

It is important to note, students have the opportunity to study a new field of study different to their undergraduate program (especially for Business and Management related courses). However, providing a resume and related work experience may be essential.
