James Cook University Australia offers a variety of scholarships for its domestic and international students.
· American Australian Association Fellowships: are for American students undertaking advanced research and study in Australia.
· Australia Awards Scholarships: these awards are offered by Australian Government to assist developing countries reduce achieve sustainable development and increase access to quality education and training for people in participating countries.
· Endeavour Awards: are merit based scholarships awarded to international students providing opportunity to undertake study, research and professional development in Australia.
· English Language Scholarships: eligible applicants may receive 20 weeks of funded Academic English Language training. Hence, recipients are required to receive a competitive scholarship from their home country and met the academic entry requirements.
· Research Scholarships: postgraduate research students may benefit from these scholarships. These scholarships are highly competitive for students commencing research degree at Master or Doctoral Level. The International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS) will cover the costs of tuition fees and medical insurance of the recipients. On the other hand JCU Postgraduate Research Scholarships (JPRS) covers tuition fees only.
