Curtin University of Technology offers a number of Scholarships for International students of Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.

 

·       CBS Innovation International Scholarship –EXTENDED: This is a merit based reward, awarded to international students enrolled in Bachelor of Business Information Systems/Technology at Curtin University. It is AU$9,000 in value scholarship for up to a maximum of 3 years. The grant is paid as a cash stipend of AU$1,500 per semester. It is awarded to only a limited number of high achieving students.

 

·         CBS School of Accounting Honours Scholarship: This is a merit based reward, awarded to international students enrolled in Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) (Honours) at Curtin University. It is AU$3,000 in value scholarship for up to 1 year. The grant is paid as a cash stipend of AU$1,500 per semester. It is awarded to only a limited number of high achieving students.

 

·         Curtin Student Exchange Travel Grants: The scholarships are awarded to eligible Student Exchange program as they are studying at the Exchange University. These grants are available to assist current Curtin Students and ranges from AU$1,000 to AU$5,000.

 

·         Curtin Spatial Science Honours Scholarship: This is a merit based scholarship awarded to outstanding international students to encourage them to undertake and maintain progress in Spatial Sciences honour programs at the University. A total value of AU$6,000 is paid in cash as a stipend of AU$3,000 per semester for duration of one year. 

 

·         Fluor Australia Mechanical Engineering Scholarship: This is a merit based reward, awarded to international students enrolled in Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) or Bachelor of Commerce at Curtin University. It is AU$5,000 in value scholarship for up to 1 year. The grant is paid as a cash stipend of AU$2,500 per semester. It is awarded to only a limited number of high achieving students. 

 

·         Reg Dowson Mining Geology Honours Scholarship: This is a merit based reward, awarded to international students enrolled in Bachelor of Science (Applied Geology) at Curtin University. It is AU$3,000 in value scholarship for up to 1 year. The grant is paid as a cash stipend of AU$1,500 per semester. It is awarded to only a limited number of high achieving students.

 

·         MRIWA Odwyn Jones Research Awards Program: The award is also open to international studcents willing to undertake an Honour year at Curtin University. As a result eligible applicant will receive AU$5,000 worth in scholarship paid in 3 instalments.  . It is awarded to only a limited number of high achieving students.

 

·   Curtin Canning College Engineering International Scholarship: the award encourages international students enrolled at the University to demonstrate high academic records in their studies at Canning College and achieve high scores. This is a merit based scholarship, and as a result is awarded to only a limited number of outstanding international students. The scholarship will provide support for the expected duration of undergraduate degree and can be used at the recipient’s discretion to contribute towards educational related expenses. The value of these awards varies between AU$3,000 – AU$5.5000 depending on the duration of the course.

 

·      Curtin Canning College Science International Scholarship:  This is a merit based scholarship, and as a result is awarded to only a limited number of outstanding international students. The scholarship will provide support for the expected duration of undergraduate degree and can be used at the recipient’s discretion to contribute towards educational related expenses. The value of these awards varies between AU$3,000 – AU$5.5000 depending on the duration of the course.

 

·      Australia Awards Scholarships: These are merit based scholarships funded by Australian Government, for eligible international students of specific countries. They are usually awarded to postgraduate students. However, a limited number of awards are available for undergraduate level. The Scholarship covers the full tuition fees, return air travel, establishment allowance, Contribution to Living Expenses (CLE), Introductory Academic Program (IAP), Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), Pre-course English (PCE) fees, Supplementary Academic support and Field Work expenses.

 

·         Digital Marketing Scholarship: international students that have an idea or thoughts about Internet and Digital media can write an essay. Eligible recipients will be awarded AU$1,500 in value award. 

 

·     AINSE Honours Scholarships: eligible recipients are required to be a member of AINSe institutions and enrolled in an Honours program at the University. Hence, recipients will be awarded AU$5,000 stipend to assist students on their honour year. Selections are mainly based on academic achievements of applicants.

 

·      Association of Firearm and Tool Mark Examiners (AFTE) scholarship: each year U$2,000 worth of scholarship is awarded to students seeking a career in Forensic Science, in order to recognise and encourage outstanding students to pursue their studies in this field.  It is awarded to only a limited number of high achieving students.

 

·    HotelClub Scholarship: an amount of AU$1,000 is awarded to outstanding international students, to assist the recipients to get ahead with their travel career.  

 

·         MOHH Mid-Term Scholarship (Singapore): high achieving students of Singapore nationality may apply for this scholarship to cover their full tuition fees, maintenance allowances, travel and development programmes costs. It is a merit based scholarship offered to students of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech Pathology courses.

 

·         Semester 1-Curtin International Scholarships- Merit Scholarship:  international students from certain countries may be eligible to apply for this scholarship. Eligible students will receive 25% discount on their first year of tuition.

 

·         Semester 1 -Curtin International Scholarship – Alumni & Family Scholarship: eligible international recipients are required to be commencing a full Curtin undergraduate or master by coursework program, at Curtin’s Western Australia campuses.  The scholarship provides 25% discount up to AU$10,000 for their first year tuition fee. It is awarded to only a limited number of high achieving students.

 

·         Semester 1 - Curtin International Scholarships - Australian Year 12 Scholarship: international recipients are required to have graduated with an Australian high school certificate willing to be commencing a full Curtin undergraduate, at Curtin’s Western Australia campuses.  The scholarship provides 25% discount up to AU$10,000 for their first year tuition fee. It is awarded to only a limited number of high achieving students.

 

·      Semester 1 - Curtin International Scholarships - Inbound Study Abroad Scholarship: international recipients enrolled for study abroad program can be eligible for the scholarship. Applicants must be commencing a full Curtin undergraduate, at Curtin’s Western Australia campuses.  The scholarship provides 20% discount in tuition fee for two semesters. It is awarded to only a limited number of high achieving students. The maximum available value is AU$1,000 per semester. Hence, the grant can only be used to purchase services supplied by an Australian Government Department of Human Services approved provider for primary care of a child under the age of 12.

 

·     Guild Childcare Assistance Grant: eligible applicants that require an occasional and unexpected childcare need can benefit from this scholarship.

 

·     Australian Building Codes Board Research Scholarship: the scholarship is open to international students enrolled as in undergraduate or postgraduate research in the field of building regulations in Australia. An amount of AU$5000 for 1 year only is awarded to eligible recipients.

 

·         Curtin Humanitarian Fund (International Students): students with refugee background that are in financial difficulty can be eligible to apply for this scholarship.

 

·         Go Global Community Development Scholarship:  students that are able to demonstrate a commitment to the community development may benefit from this scholarship. Recipients may also be required to contribute to the growth of the Go Global program by either planning or implementing a project during to Go Global fieldwork placement in the upcoming year.  The total value of the scholarship is AU$2,000 and is awarded based on academic achievements of the applicants.

 

·         Go Global Equity Scholarship: this is a merit based scholarship awarded to two students that have financial hardship to participate in the Go Global program. Consequently, eligible recipients will receive AU$3,000 reward to assist with the costs associated with participating in the program.

 

·         Go Global Merit Scholarship:  this is a merit based scholarship awarded to two students that have demonstrated excellence academic records. This is to encourage students to participate in the Go Global program. Consequently, eligible recipients will receive AU$3,000 reward to assist with the costs associated with participating in the program.

 

·         Curtin Ignition Program: students that have an idea or innovation that could become high growth business can apply this scholarship. In addition, eligible candidates must have undertaken this program and demonstrated high achieving academic records. Recipients will receive a total value of AU$2,300 worth of scholarship.

 

·         Don Watts High Achiever Scholarship (International Students): eligible recipients are required to demonstrate excellence in the fields of leadership, community service, sport, art/culture or entrepreneurship. A total amount of AU$12,000 per year It is awarded to only one high achieving student.  

 

·         Curtin Humanitarian Fund (Current Students): this is eligible for undergraduate applicants from a refugee-like background and experience financial difficulty in meeting their education expenses. As a result a range of awards are available for applicants.

 

·         MRIWA Odwyn Jones Research Awards Program – Extended: Eligible recipients are required to be enrolled to undertake a final year Honours research project in the year of application. Hence, the proposed research project must be aligned with the MRIWA objectives and be within the scope of the MRIWA Research Priority Plan. This is a merit based scholarship awarded to maximum of 6 eligible applicants. The award provides AU$5,000 reward paid in 3 instalments.

 

·         The Regen Center Scholarship: the scholarship is open to Southeast Asian descent across the world.  

 

·         A Better Australia Scholarship Program:  an amount of AU$1000 is awarded to all undergraduate or postgraduate applicants that are able to demonstrated an intent on making the country a better place.

 

·         The Rikvin Digital and Social Leadership Scholarship: the award is funded by a large firms specialising in Singaporean company registration. Eligible applicants are required to provide evidence of enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Marketing, Business and /or Finance. It is a merit based scholarship awarded to high standing student hence; it provides the recipient with an amount of AU$ 12,000 for one year.

 

·         Training.co.au Scholarship:  eligible recipients are required to be enrolled in tertiary education. It is a merit based scholarship, hence eligible recipient will be awarded AU$1,000 to go towards his/her course of their choice. 

 

·         ROI Digital Marketing Scholarship: A maximum number of one Scholarship is awarded by a leading search marketing agency of Australia to an eligible applicant. The value of the scholarship is AU$2,000 in cash towards any learning expenses or business venture, career advice from the CEO of ROI Digital Marketing and Search Marketing Training Modules.

 

·         Build Your Own Blog New Writer Scholarship:  a current student of Curtin University may be eligible to be awarded AU$4,000 worth of scholarship if can demonstrate passion to write a blog.  

 

·     Scholarships for Summer/Winter Program in Brazil: the scholarship is offered by International Business School (IBS) Americas in partnership with UNIP-Universidade Paulista, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. International students that are not of Brazilian Citizenship may be eligible to apply for this scholarship to cover 70% of their tuition costs during summer/winter program. This is a merit based award and offered to students that are sophomore (2nd year) or higher of graduates and possess intermediate level of the English Language.   

 

·         Scholarships for Summer/Winter Program in Italy (Fondazione CUOA): Undergraduates or recent graduates in Business Administration may be eligible for apply for this scholarship. There are four multicultural program offered by this scholarship. The value of the award is 70% discount in full tuition costs for their programs. 

 

·         Coupons Marketing High Achievers Scholarship: a maximum of one scholarship is awarded to any applicant that is able to write an article of 300-400 words on methods of saving money while in college.  The scholarship is merit based and is U$5,000 worth in value.

·         Online Travel and Tourism Scholarship: an amount of AU$1,250 is awarded to one talented travel thinker and writer. The eligible recipients must provide evidence of enrolment at an accredited tertiary institution.

 

·         RSPCA Scholarships: This is a scholarship for Animal Welfare Research. Eligible recipients are required to demonstrate on their application that their proposed research project is supportive of the policies of RSPCA Australia and will be used to further animal welfare in Australia.  Eligible applicants will be awarded AU$8,364 that can be used towards any area of research that fits the general scholarship criteria required.

 

·         Mannkal Semester Abroad Scholarship: the scholarship is encouraging the students to attend conferences, internships and study abroad. One scholarship is awarded to an outstanding student that will cover all the travel costs, living expenses and accommodations of the eligible recipient.  The recipient must be a current student at a West Australian university, studying commerce, law, politics, international relations or a similar field.

 

·         Mannkal Overseas Internship Program: The scholarship is encouraging the students to undertake internship at think tank overseas during summer university break. The internship can run between 2-3 months including: London, Washington DC, Los Angeles, Berlin, Athens, Vancouver, Wellington, Hong Kong and more. As a result, the scholarship covers all the costs associated with the internship program. It is a merit based scholarship and is awarded to only a limited number of high achieving students.

 

·         Web Profits Digital Future Scholarship: eligible applicants are required to demonstrate evidence of enrolment in marketing related tertiary education courses. The award is offered to high academic achieving students with AU$1,000 worth of grant to be used for attending marketing related conference and events to assist the recipients with their research of further education. The aim of this award is to help passionate students to further their skills in marketing, gain priceless industry knowledge and promote their work.

 

·         Short Course Finder Scholarship: an amount of AU$500 is awarded to eligible recipient to contribute towards the cost of learning something new, such as guitar or Spanish classes.

 

·         Biannual MyProjectorLamps Australia Scholarship:  an amount of AU$500 is awarded to two students demonstrating their ideas about the use of multimedia and data visualization in K-12 classrooms. 

 

·         Australian Collaborative Education Network (ACEN) Student Scholarship: the scholarship provides financial aid for students undertaking WIL placement in regional or remote area of Australia as part of their university studies. It is a merit based scholarship and is awarded to only a limited number of high achieving students. The value of the award is AU$1,500.

 

·         Australasian Hydrographic Society Annual Education Award: AU$3,500 worth of award is offered to encourage students to undertake maritime disciplines. This is open to a limited number of internati9onal students of specific countries, excluding Iran.

 

·         Association of Firearm and Tool Market Examiners (AFTE) Scholarship Program: the scholarship is awarded to encourage students to pursue a career in the forensic science profession. AFTE awards U$ 2,000 to students seeking career in Forensic science. As a result eligible recipients are required to be enrolled in a university science degree program.
