The city is located in the South-east of the State with about 2 million inhabitants, and the Grand River crosses through the city of Brisbane. The climate of Brisbane is humid and tropical. As a result, the temperature can reach up to 40 degrees in summers and drop to -3 degrees in winters. The city has a very large economy and its solar industry has been expanding in the past years. Brisbane has been very active in Arts and Classical Culture and has recently grown a lot in the field of Music. In addition the city hosts many sports events annually.
